With OVH since 2013
Stephanie grew up in Southern Oregon and acquired a love of animals from her father who is now a retired wildlife biologist. Stephanie began working with animals before she was out of high school, pet-sitting for neighbors, working with horses and goats, and volunteering at a local animal shelter. After high school, she moved on to the University of Oregon where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Women and Gender Studies in 2008. While in Eugene, she took up horseback riding on the UO Equestrian Team.
Upon moving to Portland in 2005, Stephanie started working at a local doggie daycare facility as well as entering a working student program with a horse trainer at a hunter/jumper equine facility. After a couple years, she entered the veterinary field and fell in love with the opportunity to develop relationships with pet owners and their companions.
If she’s not at work or at the barn, she is most-likely with her two rescue dogs Patrick and Huckleberry Finn. Together, they spend a lot of time playing at the dog park, hiking, walking around Portland, or just lounging around the house.
